About Me
I grew up in Punjab believing that dedication and hard work could open doors far beyond one’s beginnings. That belief has guided every step of my medical journey.
I completed my undergraduate medical training at GMC, Patiala, and General Surgery residency from PGIMER, Chandigarh. Driven by an unwavering passion for reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, I then joined the MCh Plastic Surgery programme at AIIMS, New Delhi, graduating First and receiving the Gold Medal.
My academic journey also led to opportunities for advanced training beyond residency, including a clinical observership at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and the MRCS Part I examination of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, followed by two distinct IAAPS fellowships.

Hair follicles are usually taken from areas that are resistant to androgenic hair loss. These transplanted follicles generally maintain much of their original biological behaviour after transplantation.
There is no fixed number. Graft requirements depend on the size of the area, degree of hair loss, existing hair density, hair calibre, desired coverage and donor availability. A higher number is not automatically better — safe donor management is critical.
No. A breast lift primarily improves shape and position rather than volume. If you also want more fullness, especially in the upper part of the breast, a breast lift can be combined with an implant or fat grafting.
A small amount of tissue may sometimes be removed during reshaping, but mastopexy is not primarily a breast-reduction procedure. If you have heavy or overly large breasts, breast reduction may be more appropriate.
Temporary changes in nipple or breast sensation can occur after surgery. Most patients experience gradual improvement, although permanent altered sensation is possible in some cases.
The results are long-lasting, but ageing, gravity, pregnancy, and major weight fluctuations can gradually affect breast shape over time. Maintaining a stable weight can help preserve the outcome.
